Overview
Roadside station Iide (道の駅いいで) is a michi-no-eki (roadside station) in Iide Town, Yamagata, Japan. Equipped with large touch-panel displays and rapid EV chargers, it also served as a support base during the 2011 earthquake disaster. Like other michi-no-eki, it gives drivers a free place to rest, clean restrooms, and a chance to buy local produce and regional specialties from Yamagata. It makes a handy stop when planning a road trip through the area.
